About Installation Recommendations
Q1: My patio is roughly 38' x 14' at its narrowest point. How many sunshade do I need to fully cover my space and which shape could you recommend?
A1: That really depends on what you want your shade structure to look like and how you plan to attach it. You could do a combination of triangles or triangle and a rectangle - that's the beauty of being creative w/ this product.
Q2: I have no trees and only one run in shed. Could I use this to shade my horses? I would have to use fence posts......
A2: Sure, these screens would make great shade for your horses. Since the fabric is permeable you won't have to worry about rain filling up the shade (like it would with a tarp). Some advice, you'll have to dig some deep post holes for your fence posts, and use turnbuckles to keep the material taut. I have two of these sunshades ( the 16' triangular one and a 10' x 13' square). They've both stood up to torrential rains with no problems.
Q: What does the warranty cover?
A: Covers workmanship, rips, tears or stretching.
Q: Is this water/rain proof or resistant?
A: No, it is not rain proof. The rain will go through this and that is the idea so the rain does not pool on top and make it bow in the center.
